Find out Arabic word for "path" or "road" to name spell path schools.
UPDATE: Potential words are "samt", "sayr", "sharia", "tariqa", "sunna", and "sebilj". "Sharia" and "sunna" are out entirely; these words have distinct, religious meanings, and I don't want to get into that.
"Samt" is actually a path or route overhead, which may make sense in the context of magic, but it is too hard for Anglophones to say.
"Sayr" is the easiest of the others to say and the easiest to adapt. Even though (I think) that it is the root of "Sharia", it may be far enough away to use. (I am no Arabic linguist, however.)
